Default Flight of the Concords - HBO

Does anyone find this show funny?
I think its the stupidest show that ever came to HBO, besides maby Big Love.
I cant belive they cancelled Rome and The Wire, wich i thought were the best shows to ever come on TV.
Does anyone like Flight of the Concords? I have seen many episodes now, and havent laughed yet..it makes me question who put these two retards on television anyway.

So, what do you guys think?

I like the wire , but i am only up to season 4, oh, okay, so there are only 5 seasons.

At first I thought its just another cops and robbers series. but after watching it, i find that this show has put so many effort into creating so many characters, each could have their own show ! its amazing how the screenwriter come up with them all.

I just have one tiny little problem with Avon Barksdale after his release. He the one that never wanted to make many waves and think calmly, you know before he was jailed. But then his character turn into another person "sort of" after his release. you could argue that prison can do shit to a person but he not like some low level criminal in the prison to begin with, he has outside supply has stuffs send to him, can get other prisoners kill and stuff. Apart from that bit I thought the whole show is very good.

Never heard of flight of the condor before. sorry. lol i side tracked

If you don't get the humour of Flight of the Conchords, it's because you don't have a good sense of humour. I pity you, because it's a hilarious show. They won a Grammy for their work, so clearly the issue here is you.

Personally I love the show, as does EVERYONE I know.

Agreed with fenix. But this is just another conspiracy by the GWG cabal to ruin HBO.

I watched some clips of them on Youtube, there's not HBO in the Netherlands. It's pretty fun imo.

It's a different show, and you need a good sense of humor to understand it. Personally, I love it. Just because you don't doesn't mean it's a bad show, and Bret and Jermaine aren't retards.

Aww yeah
That's right Fenix
Tonight we're gonna make love
You know how I know, baby?
Cause it's Wednesday
And Wednesday night is the night that we make love
Tuesday night`s the night that we go and visit your mother, but Wednesday night is the night that we make love
Cause everything is just right conditions are perfect
There`s nothing good on TV
Conditions are perfect
You lean in close and say something sexy like, "I might go to bed I`ve got work in the morning."
I know what you`re trying to say baby.
You`re trying to say, "Oh, yeah. It`s business time. It`s business time."
IT'S BUSINESS
IT'S BUSINESS TIME

I find it pretty funny. Quirky, some of the jokes may go over the heads of people under 25 or 30 (not due to maturity but due to time periods). Their songs are hit and miss.

To the OP: Yes, Rome was epic, but it had to be cancelled because production costs were astronomical (like $1 mill per episode). It had great reviews, ratings, and following, but they got in over their head, plus I believe everything was filmed on location. I miss it......I really liked Titus. But don't forget The Sopranos and Band of Brothers as HBO's best.

I hadn't really heard about them but they were on after I show I used to watch. They were pretty funny, but the show got moved back to the middle of the night and it was too late to bother with.

One of the few shows on television I actually find funny.

I think the reason you don't find the show funny is the same reason behind why you made this post.
